WordPress Security Reminder

Unfortunately today due to a hacked customer site (wordpress) some spam emails made it through our monitor systems and caused one of our mail IP addresses to be blacklisted this morning, causing large delays in emails for clients.

This has now been resolved, but there might be slight delays for any queued email to arrive for clients.

This is a good reminder for all customers to always keep WordPress updated, including:

  • WordPress core
  • Themes
  • All plugins

We also recommend installing a scanning plugin such as Wordfence, to scan your site for any malware or hacked content.
