UDAI
A UDAI is a Unique Domain Authentication Identifier, 8 characters long, randomly generated, and is unique for every .NZ domain name.
The primary purpose of a UDAI is to authorise the transfer of a domain from one provider to another.
The UDAI should be kept safe and not given out to anyone other than the domain owner.
Auth Code
An Auth Code (or EPP code) is basically the same as UDAI codes but are used for transferring international (global) domains, such as .com
Generating a UDAI or Auth Code
A new UDAI or Auth Code can be generated in our Control Panel tools, as we do not store the UDAI for your domain.
- Log into the Control Panel here: https://cp.ramsu.co.nz
- Go to the Domains section
- Find your domain and click on it
- Click on Generate UDAI – or Generate Auth Code
